Computer Room Design

A computer room, also sometimes referred to as a collapsed data center, can consolidate the main cross-connect (MC), and the horizontal cross-connect (HC) in a single main distribution area, possibly as small as a single cabinet or rack. The telecommunications room for cabling to the support areas and the entrance room are also often consolidated into the main distribution area in a collapsed data center or computer room technology.
